I'll add more sensible commentary later, probably, and might correct the colors in photoshop.
Just got this back from my color theory teacher from last year. Supposed to be a rumination on identity as symbolized by planetary bodies and such. Always intended to add the moon. I really didn't know what to file this under: it's acrylic on vinyl records, chopped and glued to create a quasi- venn diagram. Sculptural but still mostly 2d. Also, I've been realy tempted to use it as a trivet, but haven't needed it yet. |
